Payton Jordan/Stanford results? [10K AR For Flanagan]Any word on results from Stanford last night? Record Timing clearly had some problems yesterday — they still don't have them up.
Isn't somebody that at Stanford who can update us?Isn't somebody usually there at big meets like this who can update the forums reasonably quickly?
I'm anxious to see how our teen Hasay did against the big girls in the 1500. Did nerves get the best of her as has occasionally happened in the past or was she cold steel like she usually is. (Like in that epic 3200 battle against Babcock a few weeks back) And did anyone notice Danielle Tauro was in the third section? After her lead off at Penn last week she definitely should have been in the same section as Hasay. And updates on the men's 5k and 10k. What a field. Who's there1!?!?!?! Come on dudes Little help here!
Some of the field events results are up. Standout for me so far was Grace Upshaw jumping 6.68m in the LJ.
I got a little carried away with excitement but hey! Check this out! Flotrack to the rescue! http://www.flocasts.org/flotrack/coverage.php?c=256 "Flotrack will be on site at Stanford on May 4 for the 2008 Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational. We will be doing all the big races LIVE on Sunday night (6 PM PST)"
Well I beat that link on the home page when I posted it here by about 60 seconds! And thats the first time I've beaten anything by that much time in 37 years! No biggie... just glad to know it'll be available.
Or not, depending on your luck. Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/admin/domains/flocasts.org/public_html/include/database.php on line 22 Too many connections
A great meet every year, but one that is always getting your hopes up. Anyone care to wager how many distance runners will run their season best tonight, not to improve the rest of the year? (Mods, feel free to scrap this post and sentence me to 6 months hard labor for introducing bad karma.
Cardinal Videos and Photos upIf you missed them, all of the Cardinal Videos are up.

Hasay already has a 4:16.9x and 4:17.2x To me it looked like Hasay was in about 7th, not 11th and came through in 4:16.6 or so, but it was very hard to tell as the video has been shaky.
