A small explanation.
In your question you wrote "... last week ...", referring to the week of April 9 po15. I moved your question as a week from 2 to 8 April. I could not remember anything suitable.
Mickley gave the correct answer before anyone else(well-known fact in history HJ), which also was known for me..
The fact that in the week from 2 to 9 April, I asked a few questions on the forum and I suspect that I missed something interesting.
My further search and questions were directed not to, that would give the correct answer, but I was trying to find previously unknown to me fact.
I hope that this is correct in relation to the "trivia rules".

In Russia, a new week begins Monday and ends on Sunday.
If on Sunday 15 we're talking about the event from 9 to 15, then we say that an event happened this week(current week).
If an event has occurred from 2 to 9, then we say that an event happened last week(week before).
This explains my doubts.

Why do I need to repeat his answer? Mickley winner and Game is Over! But, I was tormented by the question of a possible second fact of the coincidence of dates of birth of top athletes which unknown to me(week from 2 to 9).
Without the clarification from gh and having my own doubts about a week from 2 to April 9, I spend my research for a possible match dates of birth of the top athletes.
Only after dukehjsteve's post I'm starting to understand what I was wrong in the translation and definition of the term "last week".
